TangoSingapore.com is the leading online news and information portal serving tango communities in Singapore and East Asia.

We began in 1999 as a simple webpage providing calendar of events of interest to tango workshop participants. This was supplemented by an email newsletter chroniclering the growth of the scene.

Over the years, the community grew larger and began connecting with similar communities in neighbouring cities. The website then became an important source of news and updates about visiting teachers, shows, festivals and other happenings around the region.

Today, our readers are made up of a wide cross section of tangueros interested in the growth of Tango in Asia, from beginner, serious learners, music fans, to experienced dancers and professional teachers.

TangoSingapore is not an association, society or club. It is a community, so there is no formal membership. We offer our resources and services to anyone anywhere who share our enthusiasm for the tango.
